The Townsville Fire are the 2026 WNBL Champions — and we’re just getting started.
Five championships. Twenty-five years. One community. The Townsville Fire are more than a basketball club. We are North Queensland’s team — built by the community, driven by our fans, and fuelled by the passion of one of the loudest, most loyal supporter bases in Australian sport.
The Fire Pit is the hottest venue in the WNBL. When you become a member, you’re not just reserving a seat — you’re claiming your place in something bigger. WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2026–27
We are the defending champions. The target is on our backs and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Shannon Seebohm and his coaching staff are building on the most successful season in recent club history, with captain Courtney Woods leading a group of elite athletes who are hungry, focused, and ready to defend.
The Fire Pit experience has never been better — with Fire Fiesta pre-game activations, live entertainment, premium hospitality options, and an atmosphere you simply cannot find anywhere else in Australian women’s basketball. This is not just a game. This is an event.

The Townsville Fire is proudly community-owned and not-for-profit. We don’t have a wealthy private backer. What we have is you — our members, our fans, our community. That is our competitive advantage, and it always has been.
We also believe sport changes lives. Through programs like Ignite the Dream, our Fire Academies, and our Pathways to Empowerment initiative, the Fire is making a real difference to young people right across North Queensland — on and off the court.

WHO IS CLASSIFIED AS A JUNIOR?
To quality for a junior membership, the junior must be 17 years or under at the 1st of
February 2025
HOW MANY MEMBERS DOES A FAMILY CONSIST OF?
Families can consist of two (2) Adults plus two (2) juniors.
A junior is defined above.
WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND? CAN I GET A REFUND?
As per the terms and conditions, subject to applicable law, once your membership has been processed you are not entitled to a refund. You may request a refund in writing (email) and your request will be assessed by Management. Any refunds (whole or partial) will be at the discretion of Management.
WHAT DOES MY MEMBERSHIP GIVE ME ACCESS TO?
Memberships apply to all Townsville Fire home games that are played during the
2024-25 WNBL regular season.
I CANNOT ATTEND A MATCH, CAN SOMEONE ELSE USE MY MEMBERSHIP?
Members who purchase a membership are entitled to transfer their ticket to a family
member or a friend providing the guest is of the equivalent level of entry (e.g.
Concession/Junior). Adult memberships may be used by people in all other levels of
entry.
DO I RECEIVE A MEMBERSHIP PACK?
Yes, members will receive a membership pack which will vary depending on
membership type.
